TMC : The Exodus

The fact that the TMC is a sinking ship is dawning on the people of the state. No one can deny the leadership vacuum in the state. People are surely and slowly turning to the BJP for support and protection.
Such was the case of 500 people in Sattor, Chaoumandalpur and Makhra in Parui and seven neighbouring villages switched to the BJP from the TMC. Sattor has been the victims of TMC terror under Sheikh Mustafa, so the people moved into BJP for protection and to bring an end to the terror.

The BJP trade union is also making in-roads into the tea garden of North Bengal. They workers of the tea gardens are not only moving away from the TMC, but also other trade unions of the CPM and Congress. The workers have been agitating for better wages and these trade unions have failed to delivery on protecting their interests.
Getting frustrated over increasing loan of state Government & failing to get DA since TMC assumed power, Government employees decided to form BJP backed association.

The fallout at the grassroots level is also the political migration of Muslims from Mamata Banerjee’s TMC to the BJP in a large number of villages across Birbhum in the northern tip of Burdwan. These villages, with 1,200 voters, was a traditional support base of Forward Bloc. However, in 2009, all joined TMC. This was one of the strongest support base of TMC under the Sainthia block. But in the past three years, they did not get their dues under MNREGA. The TMC panchayat members have taken away their job cards and bank pass books too. Those who protested were tortured.

The Indian Express also recently reported that "in the face of growing embarrassment for the Trinamool Congress with several of its leaders being arrested in the Saradha scam case, some elected representatives are reportedly on their way to switch over to the BJP.

“Around 130 Trinamool MLAs have called us and expressed their willingness to switch over to the BJP,” said BJP state general secretary Ashim Sarkar. The one name that is doing the rounds is Animal Resource Development Minister Humayun Kabir.

While terming this both as good news and also an alarm bell, he added: “Good news because awareness among people is rising that the BJP is the next big thing and that the rise of BJP in Bengal is inevitable… And an alarm bell because in the rush to bring them in, we must not forget that anti-social elements in the Trinamool should not be allowed to join the BJP.”

Most of their senior MPs like Subhendu & Sisir Adhikary were not seen in last parliament session, not in present session. MP Sugato Bose has aired different lines than that of Party yesterday. Don't forget in a TMC den in Midnapur, BJP has won cooperative election in big way.

In Student Movement of Kolkata there was undeclared rule of Red & Chatra Parishad. Now the ABVP,the BJP minded student organisation is making such inroads that their rallies are being attacked on heart of Kolkata. Even ABVP winning Student election in 2 colleges of Jhalda, where BJP had no presence.

Intellectuals who created a division of "Amra" "Ora" are not not taking any side, not even attending rallies even after order of Ms.Banerji. But rally of intellectuals supporting BJP gaining momentum.

Professor Sugata Bose, grand nephew of Netaji airing different view on protest of TMC arose after Madan Mitra's arrest. He has even attended parliament but he has not attended TMC protest organised by TMC parliamentarians which paralyzed Rajyasabha operation completely. Rift within leadership exposed.

Actor Mithun Chakraborty was missing in the entire session of parliament, while he is regular in Bengali entertainment channels.

Other leaders who are compelled to stay in TMC,showing their dirty face using unparliamentary languages out of frustration.

This is the beginning of the end of the TMC.
