It is okay to insult Hindus!

The movie PK is in the long line of insulting Hindu sentiments under the garb of artistic expression. It shows a man dressed as Lord Shiva pulling a rickshaw with two burkha clad women in it.
The most famous is ofcourse M F Hussain who finds nothing wrong in painting Hindu Gods and Goddess in the nude and in objectionable positions. He had the audacity to paint the following:
1. Goddess Durga in sexual union with a Tiger
2. Goddess Lakshmi naked on Sree Ganesh’s head
3. Naked Saraswati
4. Naked Sree Parvati
5. Naked Draupadi
6. Naked Lord Hanuman and Goddess Sita sitting on the thigh of Ravana
7. Fully clad Muslim King and a naked Hindu Brahmin.

But all Muslim and Christian women in M F Hussain's paintings are all clothed and respectably dressed.
Shelah Horwitz painted Shree Ram and Hanuman as Homosexuals in a painting. However, upon intense protest she pulled the painting from the exhibition.

The Converse shoe company issues shoes in honour of Jimi Hendrix with the images of Hindu Gods on the shoes! They were also withdrawn after protests from  the Indian community.

But when the reverse is done to the Muslim and Christian idols are represented in offensive way the world goes up in flames. Take the case of the Danish cartoons on the Prophet Mohammad. Salman Rushdie spend most of his life under a fatwa and the fate is shared by Taslima Nasreen. We have seen how religious fanatics harassed the writer. We have also seen how all the cases on attackers of Taslima were withdrawn by the West Bengal Government. Even her serial was forced to stop from airing on Bengali television channel. So, one may never dare touch the sanctity of another religion but Hinduism is open game for every one with an "artistic expression". Here they are free to insult Hindu religion. Worse is the fact that it is "secular" Hindus who go out of their way to ensure that these offensive pieces of art are sold and flourish in the wider world. They argue of the greatness of these artists and support their offensive efforts. On commenting insult of Hiduism today Amir Khan said, "All my Hindu friends have seen the film and they have not felt the same. Even Raju is Hindu, so is Vinod and so is Abhijat. In fact 99% of the crew was Hindu" So after hurting our religious heroes the film star takes shield of his 90% crew who tolerate the insult & even appreciates insult. He also said that India is democratic country & every body has right to express views. That is absolutely right. He produce a television show where he acts as social reformer. Then Why Taslima Nasreen's right will not be protected ? Only your right to humiliate Hindu God will come under democratic right?

If one from society protests, their act will be termed as "Saffron" terror?
How long is a Hindu to tolerate these injustices? We must tell artists to apologize, yardstick should be same for all religion.
