Politics of obscene language

Bengalis are known around the world for their culture. But the so-called guardians of that culture, i.e. the TMC, have created a new culture. The politics of obscene language.

The obscene language has both range and depth and best of all it is gender neutral in its exposure. Both men and women leaders of the TMC have been very liberal in their use of obscene language. And we are not talking just the mere use of obscene language, we are also talking of obscene comments on sensitive issues.

Take the case of Kakoli Dastidar, she said the Park street rape case was a miunderstanding between a sex worker and her client! So for a well travelled educated OBGYN, it is natural for a sex worker to get raped. She asked for it, didn't she Doctor?

Tapas Pal is ofcourse too good to be true. If anyone is threatened, rape the woman! Mass rape is the solution to violent behaviour in men. After all, there has to be a release mechanism. Some like music, some like dance, and others resort to rape. They asked for it, didn't they Mr. Pal?

If the above is not enough, "constructive work" is the key to all solutions. We all need a push or a "bansh" in the backside. A little encourgaement goes a long way. Who would know this better than the greatest people manager of our age, the Politician. They demanded for it, didn't they Madam CM?

In a flurry to assert oneself the once "erudite" Derek O'Brian has used such language in Parliament against the Prime Minister that the passage can not only be repeated but they had to be deleted from the Parliamentary texts. Who will know the effective use of language (specially with young kids) than the greatest quiz master of our times. They requested for it, didn't they Mr. Quiz Master?

If you think you would have better died than lived to see this day, do not worry. Some may say that your grandfather would have never married had he known how your life wold have turned out. Kalyan Bhattarcharya advises the same to BJP national secretary Siddharth Nath Singh. They were born for it, didn't they Mr. B?
