Saffron Tide in Bengal

Saffron tide is here to stay in West Bengal. The Basirhat Dakshin seat was the first seat in West Bengal that the BJP won fighting elections alone. It is also a significant fact that it has 35% minority voters in the mix.

Here is a snapshot of the change in vote share of the different parties in West Bengal.

It is both a tale of euphoria and a tale of caution. While there is a significant increase in votes for the BJP, the TMC vote has no reduced significantly.

As BJP workers we cannot rejoice yet in these colours above, we have a long determined march ahead of us.
