A very interesting battle ahead in Bengal.

Bashirhat Dakshin was in the news for quiet some time.It is border place adjacent to Bangladesh.Infact it is only 2.2 KM away from Bangladesh. Border is very porous there. Communist Party of India always won this seat. They have used many ways including giving Ration cards to illegal immigrants. Though CPI won this seat in 2011,TMC-Congress combine lost but political power left from from CPM. TMC Bosses did the same as their friend did. They used the Aadhar Card. So with this CPM, TMC battle to consolidate their vote bank Muslims are 54% in that constituency.

So Bashirhat saw a new trend in 2014 Loksabha election.All the parties except BJP fielded Muslim candidate. 54% Muslim voter was their wish to grab for all,who call themselves Secular & filled Bashirhat with Bangladeshis. Despite of that BJP exceptionally well there. We are now having election on 13th September on Bashirhat Dakshin Bidhan sabha seat, which comes under Bashirhat Loksabha seat. The result of 2014 Loksabha seat gives a good cheer for Bharatiya Janata Party. In that particular Assembly segment resuls like this,

Just notice the name of the candidate. In the race of winning "Secular" votes all parties fielded Muslim candidates. But Hindus were determined to vote one party because of Shri Narendra Modi,All Muslim vote splits & BJP was in lead of more than 30000. Apart from Modiji's factor another important factor worked there, presence & work of Hindu Samhati. Mr.Tapan Ghosh has good command over Hindus there. So it is believed that factor came in as well.

If you compare with 2011 assembly election result,you will find how this splendid shift has come.

BJP votes increase 10 times there. If you add Congress & TMC votes those are more than even TMC ,Congress combine vote of 2011.Left vote dipped & the entire independent vote goes to BJP. 

So after election attack of so called "Secularists" increased. Violence occured on 28 th May when Goons of Trinamool Congress attack BJP workers. 30 BJP people got injured after TMC firing in Sandeshkhali. Workers got agitated.Strong reaction came nationally, so on 30th may a central delegation visited area. They had visited the injured in SSKM hospital as well.

Polarisation has taken place already by direct attack of "Secular" goons so result will be repeated in forthcoming 13th September election as well.

Election of Chowranghee is always difficult.

Advantage here is Shikha Mitra,a TMC MLA vacated this seat.She along with her husband,who was candidate in 2014 Loksabha election for Congress Left TMC.Their protest was mainly around malpractices in Shardha & involvement of TMC is cheat funds.So the behest of ongoing investigation of CBI & hold of Mr.Somen Mitra,now in Congress,in that constituency will decide the result. It is expected that People will not waste their vote voting congress,they are equal partner in Shardha scam.Election will be a 2 way fight BJP vs.TMC.
