Preparation for meeting

11:00 am              : Jaswant Singh along with BJYM co-workers went to the spot for putting up banners, flags and loudspeakers (mike) so that the Street corner can be started on time. 14 loudspeakers were installed for the meeting and flags were fixed on lamp posts which took almost 1.5 hours’ time. While doing these activities they found a group of young guys doing picnic and playing music through DJ box, behind the spot of street corner.

1:00 pm                : BJYM workers came back from the venue after preparing it for Street Corner Meeting which was due at 5 pm.

Meeting

5:00 pm onwards: All reached the spot and found another group of young guys doing picnic just bang opposite to the spot of street corner meeting with music on full blast on DJ boxes. DJ boxes faced the street corner spot! These guys were not there till 1 pm when Jaswant Singh and his BJYM co-workers left the spot after preparing it for street corner meeting. Needless to say, it’s a cunning TMC initiative without flag or banner to spoil the BJYM street corner. Jaswant Singh, BJYM, President KonnagarMondal requested the young group over loudspeakers to reduce the volume of the DJ boxes so that they can start their street corner meeting. 2 policemen present at the spot also persuaded the group of young guys to reduce the volume of DJ boxes, which they responded to. They reduced the volume. Street corner meeting started with Jaswant Singh as the first speaker. Other district leadership was yet to arrive. Within 15 – 20 minutes district leadership arrived while Jaswant continued with his speech. After 30 minutes of Jaswant’s speech the DJ boxes went full blast again. According to Jaswant, “the music was so loud that I was hardly able to hear what I said.” By this time BJYM had a gathering of 50 plus people at the spot including district leadership along with other leaders like Anil Roy, Ex-President BJYM, UttarparaMondal; SubrataChoudhury, Ex-President BJP, UttarparaMondal; SaraswatiChoudhury, Ex-President BhartiyaMahilaMorcha, Hooghly District. They all requested to reduce the volume of DJ boxes to that young group which they didn’t listen to. To utter surprise, 4-5 policemen present at the spot didn’t intervene! Having no other options left to continue the street corner meeting the district leadership opted for road blockade at the spot.

Out of thin air 200-250 people gathered at the spot and started protesting why the road was blocked? The group started using abusive language with we can’t write here to all the BJP workers and leaders, didn’t bother about so many ladies were present at the spot. They started throwing away the chairs which BJYM brought for street corner meeting. The group went frenzy which induced scuffle between BJP workers and the group of 200-250 people. Mr Anil Roy being a well-built person became the target of the frenzy group and they started pushing him to a corner. One of those people who pushed Anil Roy suddenly fell on the ground and didn’t move at all. Immediately the issue was made as an outsider came and beaten a localite, the group started bashing Anil Roy mercilessly. Within 5 minutes, an ambulance arrived at the scene and took the person, who was lying on the ground, to the hospital. Somehow the BJYM workers were able to free Anil Roy from the mob, but by that time he was beaten black and blue. Vijay Pandey, a BJP karyakarta from Rishra took Anil Roy as pillion on his motorbike and escaped the scene, later Anil Roy was hospitalised.

When the frenzy group saw that Anil Roy was not in their hand anymore, they cordoned the District Leadership and didn’t allow them to move away from the scene. Krishna Bhattacharya, Subir Nag, SubrataMitra, Jaswant Singh, PrabirPakhira, SubrataChoudhury were “gheraoed” and frenzy group started cursing NaMo. They said, “If you want to do BJP go to Delhi, not in West Bengal” the also said, “where was BJP in last 34 years? We ousted CPM, you all have no place here in West Bengal.” They caught hold of SubrataMitra and slapped him. While slapping they asked, “Are you Subir Nag?”

After being gheraoed for 40 minutes,a large police force came to the scene . BJP leaders and karyakartas were rescued form the frenzy group of goons.

Series of few events such as, picnic with DJ box, music at full blast, 200-250 people’s immediate gathering, appearance of ambulance within 5 minutes, police inaction, the faces in that 200-250 people crowd, the language used while district BJP leadership were “gheraoed” confirmed that this was not a spontaneous affair, it was a planned activity carried out by ruling party. Plan to disrupt the BJYM street corner meeting. The planning was done after BJYM workers left the spot at 1:00 pm and was perfectly executed when required.

শিবঠাকুরের আপন দেশে
আইন কানুন সর্বনেশে !
কেউ যদি যায় পিছলে পড়ে,
প্য়াদা এসে পাকড়ে ধরে,
কাজির কাছে হয় বিচার ll .....

চলতে গিয়ে কেউ যদি চায়,
এদিক ওদিক দিনে বাঁয়ে ,
রাজার কাছে খবর ছোটে,
পল্টনেরা লাফিয়ে ওঠে,

প্রথম অধ্যায়ে তে বলা হয়েছে যাদাভপুরের অধ্যাপক  আম্বারিশবাবুর কথা l সবে রেলমন্ত্রক ছেড়ে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী হয়েছেন l একজন রেলমন্ত্রকে গিয়েও ছিলেন  বটে তবে কথা শুনছিলেন না l কেন শুনছিলেন না যারা সারদা তদন্তর কথা কাগজে পড়ছেন বুঝতে পারছেন l ফলে বিস্তর ঝগড়া , মারামারি অবশেষে  রাজা বা রানী অন্য একজনকে পদে বসান l তাই নিয়ে সংবাদ্পত্রতে হাসি ঠাট্টা লেগেই থাকত l অম্বরিশবাবু ভুলক্রমে নিম্নোক্ত এমনি একটি বিষয় বন্ধুকে পাঠিয়েছিলেন   উনি জানতেন না এখন "কুমড়োপটাশ" এর যুগ ,হাসা একদম বারণ l

ব্যাস আর যায় কোথায়, প্য়াদা এসে ধরে নিয়ে যায় ওনাকে l কিন্তু দেশে তো উকিল আছে, তারাও তত্পর,ঘাম চতার যোগাড় l অনেক ভেবে চিনতে তারা একুশে আইন এ বিদ্ধ করলেন তাকে l

কিন্তু তাতেও বিপদ গেল না l উকিলের জয় হলো l রাজামশাই যদিও তাদের কথায় কান দেননি l রাজা শুনবে কোর্টের কথা? কোর্ট যদি ভুলে যায় যে একুশে জুলাই তে জন্ম হয়েছে রাজার , একুশে আইন এ মান্যতা না দিলে চলবে? রাজার অপরাধ কোথায় ?

সমস্যা আরো গভীর হলো l উজবুক বঙ্গবাসী আরো হাসতে আরম্ভ করলো l রাজা এখন হাসলেই ধরবে l কাল বেচারা সব্যসাচী পদ্য লিখে প্য়াদার সমন পেয়েছেন আজ কে মোবাইল twitter রাজা বিরোধিতা করছে তার ওপর নজর রাখছে সাগরেদরা l যাদাভপুর, রায়গঞ্জ হয়ে বাঁকুড়া পৌছে গেছেন l কাল আপনাদের পাড়াতেও পৌঁছবেন l

রাজার বিরোধিতা মহাপাপ , একদম হাসবেন না দয়া করে l 

21st July 1993

21^st July 1993 is remembered as a black day in West Bengal, the day on which 13 people were shot dead by Kolkata Police. Though later we came to know that 12 people died and 1 died later due to other illness. The day on which Writers’ Abhijan was organized by Youth Congress. Mamata Banerjee was the president of the youth wing of Indian National Congress – Youth Congress. Before going to the incident of 21^st July 1993, we must have an insight what lead to it.

The 14-year-old communist government won a massive mandate in 1991, but with Ms Banerjee becoming the President of Youth Congress a new wave of protest began against, what many believed and Ms Banerjee called, ‘Scientific Rigging’ employed by the ruling party for such mandate. Youth Congress president attacked the communist government with her crowd pulling ability. On October 1992, she organized a massive rally at Brigade Parade Ground and struck “Death Bell” to oust the Communist regime from Bengal. On December 1992, Ms Banerjee took a physically challenged Girl Felani Basak, who was allegedly raped by CPI(M) cadres, to the Writers' Building to the then Chief Minister Jyoti Basu but was harassed and allegedly molested by the police before being arrested and released from detention in midnight, this attracted universal outrage. Finally Ms Banerjee along with Pankaj Banerjee and Madan Mitra decided to march to Writers’ Building to appeal Photo Voter ID cards to be made mandatory for free and fair poll.

21^st July 1993, it was planned that the supporters would move towards Writers’ Building from different directions and lay a siege on the state secretariat, which the then CM Jyoti Basu already announced that he will not allow. But rallies from different directions – Brabourne Road, BB Ganguly Street, Mission Row, Mayo Road, etc. started moving towards Writers’ Building.  Rally from Brabourne Road was stopped at Tea Board as police cordoned that area. Crowd tried to break the cordon, which triggered lathi-charge from police and stone pelting from crowd, police burst tear gas shell. The crowd which was approaching from Mayo Road, where gathering is prohibited under section 144, was stopped at Mayo Road-Red Road crossing. Scuffle with police started. Crowd resorted to stone-pelting which was retaliated by lathi-charge. The crowd started running across Curzon Park and the Police-crowd battle spread across. Afraid that they would be outnumbered, policemen opened fire. 13 people died. Ms Banerjee was also beaten up near Tea Board. A person needs special mention here as reader should know, Mr Manish Gupta, was Home Secretary of West Bengal on 21^st July 1993.

Ms Banerjee, a politician suited always in opposition, knew very well how to pull crowd. She broke away from Indian National Congress (INC) and formed Trinamool Congress on 1^st January 1998. Her reason for leaving INC is a different story and we won’t discuss it here. But she knew exactly which activity will help her to break INC workers and supporters away from INC and bring them along with her to TMC. She was never bothered about Felani Basak, remember the physically challenged girl raped by CPI(M) cadre, whom Ms Banerjee took to Writers’ Building, but she chose 21^st July 1993 instead and hijacked the issue from INC. She named it Martyr’s Day and started organizing meeting every year on that day. She promised that she will enquire about the people who were involved in 21^st July 1993 firing and punish them if she becomes Chief Minister of West Bengal.

After winning West Bengal Legislative Assembly 2011 with overwhelming majority, she had to keep her words. As promised she formed One-man Commission of Justice (Retd) Sushanta Chatterjee to probe 21^st July 1993 incident. Fact findings commission not judicial commission. Commission submitted its report on 29^th December 2014 after enquiring 300 plus witness over 3.5 years.

Justice (Retd) Sushanta Chatterjee read out portions of the over 700-page report, which he made public before submitting it to the state government, which is as given below:

·         There was no necessity to resort to firing that caused the death of 13 persons

·         Without mentioning any individual name, the officials in the Home department and police officials of Control Room (Kolkata Police) failed to discharge their duties in saving lives guaranteed by the Constitution and in protecting the right to demonstrate peacefully.

·         Collective responsibility lies with the state and police administration, they had overacted to please their political bosses. The firing could have been avoided.

·         Firing had happened on orders from control room and by trigger-happy additional forces sent by it.

·         This incident was much worse than what happened in Jallianwala Bagh.

·         Seventy-five rounds of bullets were fired by the police in the incident on 21 July 1993.(but Ms Banerjee claimed earlier three hundred rounds)

·         A compensation of Rs 25 lakhs to the families of each of those killed.

·         A compensation of Rs 5 lakhs each to those who were injured in the police action.

Jallianwala Bagh!! But Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer not found!!

So what commission did for last 3.5 years? OR Commission trying to save someone?

Now we would like you to recollect a name which we specially mentioned above while describing the 21^st July 1993 incident, Mr Manish Gupta. Gupta who happened to be the Home Secretary of West Bengal Government on 21^st July 1993 is the same person who happens to be present Minister of Power in Mamata Banerjee’s cabinet. Can anyone tell how policemen can fire without getting a nod from Home Secretary? Even Mamata appointed Justice felt shocked to hear that Home Secretary didn’t know about firing. He said History will say “How”.We say say History will say “Why” commission was formed?

Does this government really have the intention to punish crooks? We have seen the fate of another such commission earlier, Justice Shyamal Sen Commission. Justice Chatterjee was lucky enough that he could submit his report to government whereas Justice Sen couldn’t find anyone to submit his report! What is fun in making such commission and spending from government exchequer when the crooks will not be taken to task? Are these commissions or colloquium?

Now this Justice Chatterjee Commission which incurred so much expenditure over last 3.5 years added salt to the wound to Government Exchequer by recommending Rs 25 lakhs to kin of deceased and Rs 5 lakhs compensation to person who were injured on 21^st July 1993. We are pretty sure Prof Amibekesh Mahaptra and farmer Shiladitya will not get compensation as recommended by West Bengal Human Rights Commission but these 13 families will get Rs 25 Lakhs each. We have found Power Minister of TMC & the then Home Secretary has kept in power board the accused Ex-Police office in Shardha case,despite of officer staying in Jail for 4 months. Does he intend to give compensation from Shardha? State Government is already under huge loan & not giving DA to government staff.

We condemn the act of shoot out by policemen and we really want to know who instructed the policemen to fire. Along with that we would like to raise few other questions, whether taking the state secretariat under control by opposition political party constitutional? Lastly why compensation of Rs 25 lakhs and Rs 5 Lakhs will be paid for anti-government activity from government exchequer?

Azam Khan & his politics

We will start quoting from News from Rediff.com , The news says,

With 247 incidents of communal violence, Uttar Pradesh has earned the dubious distinction of topping the list of states that witnessed riots in 2013 and the situation is no different in 2014 too.

Communal violence claimed 133 lives across the country last year which include 77 deaths in UP.According to latest Union home ministry statistics, a total of 823 such incidents were reported from across the country in 2013 in which 2,269 people were injured.

In comparison to 247 incidents in UP statistics show no. of cases in Gujrat was 68 & all leading congress ruled states had the higher numbers. This statistics was given by earlier Congress Government,so the readers who were about to express doubt about authenticity must know. The ereason behind this high intolerance is growing percentage of Minority & in many places minority has become majority. As a result of that be it Bahujan Samaj Party,be diminutive Congress or ruling Samajbadi Party creates their poll strategy on the basis of their  Vote-Bank politics. That is why Ajam Khan was expelled from the party on 24 th May 2009 for 6 years but he was again admitted within a year in 2010. Now he is unofficially no. 2 of the party after Mulayam, his stature his even above CM Akhilesh. It is the same Ajam Khan who said,

It is that Azam Khan who on 11 April 2014, said that Sanjay Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi had been punished by Allah for "forcible" sterilization during the Emergency and "shilanyas" at the disputed site in Ayodhya.

It is that Azam khan who commented On 21/11/2014, that Taj Mahal should be handed over wakf board. Many people saw his remark as political desperation. Azam khan is widely criticized in media over his remarks as Taj mahal belong to whole India and not to a single community. He also claimed that the huge birthday funding of Netaji came from Dawood Ibrahim and Taliban He also told Bharatmata a DAYAN (Witch) in the past.

When  the prime ruler of the state is of such mentality,It is obvious such Riots will take place & the common men will suffer. At this time we will once again remind you what Swami Vivekananda said about their communal mentality

"It is to be noted that in this respect, the Muslim faithfuls are the most immature and communal minded. Their principal mantra is Allah and Mohammad is the only Rasul. Anything outside these aren't merely bad, these are to be instantaneously destroyed. Any man or woman who is a minutest unbeliever of this faith, has to be killed and their devotional procedure is to be removed completely.  Any scriptures preaching a different faith is to be burnt down. ..... " (Swami Vivekananda Rachanabali, 4th Volume, page 125)(Translated into English).

It is that Azam Khan who commented today that RSS is trying to make communal divide so that India becomes victim of political unrest. we want to ask CM of UP what more unrest do you want. A state who had maximum no. riots in 2013,almost 3 times than Maharashtra who is holding second position with 88. In 2014 that number is even higher & will be declared soon in 2015. There are reports atrocities on women all across the state but Police is fearing to take action as they have seen, when your wife ran away with buffalows & entire police machinary including 100 sniffer dogs were employed by CM. How can they take action & lose the job. Forcible conversion in UP by Minister it rampant. It started from the long back & that is being carried forward to survive spreading Vote-Bank politics.

We quote,

"By ones who haven't heard or recognized terms like 'Jijiya Tax', forced conversion, revengeful destruction and desecration of numerous temples and construction of mosques at their sites. Was deliberate destruction of Nalanda University and of Vamihan Buddha acceptable practices? Have we not heard about the ISIS masses assembling in droves from all parts of the globe? What are their objectives? How are they treating non-Muslims and even non-Sunnis? How are they treating girls captured by them? How many Religious Leaders are coming out in openly criticizing their activities and declaring that their atrocities are not sanctioned by teachings of Quoran? The Lal Masjid Priest even virtually supported the massacre of School Children by the Talibans. Not merely religious zealots, even the Pakistan Airforce specifically targetted Romna Kali Temple of Dhaka during 1971 War". 

Politics of UP & west Bengal has become very similar now a days. Same Vote-bank politics & same disruption of Parliament on conversion. When Government asks for debate for Anti-conversion law,they do not agree. What they want is conversion remains one sided. So that they can continue to practice Vote Bank Politics. Imran Hasan is alleged to be main hand in Canning riot. Asif was his close aid. Practised same kind of politics but when he was completely exposing Trinamul in Sharda scam he was put behind bar by TMC itself. But ED has not stopped yet they have called Imran's another aid Aminuddin for interrogation. Please remember this trio Imran,Asif & Aminuddin is closely related to the dangerous communal Man Azam Khan. when Asif was post holder in TMC,his main role was to keep contact with Azam Khan. Similarity of UP & Bengal politics lies there only.

We need to identify these persons & proceed to stronf anti-conversion law to stop these types of communal violence.

ভাষার পরিবর্তন

ভাষা –শব্দের সাহায্যে ভাবের অভিব্যক্তি, এই মানেই আমরা পাই সাহিত্য সংসদ অভিধানে। ভাষার প্রধানত দু ধরনের পরিবর্তন হয়ে এসেছে এতদিন,

১) দূরত্বগত ভাবে ও

২) সময়ের সঙ্গে

প্রথমটি, প্রতি ৩০ কিলোমিটার পথ চলার পর আমরা ভাষার এই পরিবর্তন লক্ষ করি, যা আজ আমাদের আলোচ্য বিষয় নয়। দ্বিতীয়টি, যে পরিবর্তন আমরা প্রতি বছর পাই, প্রতি বছরে আমরা একটা বা দুটো নতুন শব্দ প্রয়োগ শুরু করি, যা আজ আমাদের আলোচ্য বিষয়।

১) ৯৯৭ বঙ্গাব্দের নিদাঘশেষে একদিন একজন অশ্বারোহী পুরুষ বিষ্ণুপুর হইতে মান্দারণের পথে একাকী গমন করিতেছিলেন। 

২) এ পৃথিবীতে এক সম্প্রদায়ের লোক আছে, তাহারা যেনখড়ের আগুন । দপ্ করিয়া জ্বলিয়াউঠিতেও পারে, আবারখপ্ করিয়া নিবিয়া যাইতেও পারে।

৩) শেষ বিকেলটা অন্ধকারে ভরে আসছিল। দুপুরের পর থেকেই আকাশ মেঘলা, মাঝে মাঝে তরল মেঘেরা উড়ে উড়ে যাচ্ছিল আকাশছোঁয়া বারিগুলোর মাথা মুড়িয়ে।

৪) ইমনকে হঠাৎ দেখলে সে ছেলে কি মেয়ে বোঝবার উপায় নেই। চুল ছেলেদের মতো, সামনে বড় বড়, পেছনে ছোট ছোট করে কাটা।

সময়ের সঙ্গে ভাষার পরিবর্তন উপরে লেখা চারটি লাইন এ খুবই পরিষ্কার,প্রতিটি একটি উপন্যাসবা গল্পের প্রথম লাইন। প্রথমটি বাঙ্কিম চন্দ্র চট্টোপাধ্যায় মহাশয়ের দুর্গেশনান্দিনির, দ্বিতীয়টি শরৎ চন্দ্র চট্টোপাধ্যায় মহাশয়ের বড়দিদির, ৩য়টি সমরেশ মজুমদারের কালবেলা ও চতুর্থটি বাণী বসুর একুশে পা। শতাব্দি জুরে বইয়ের ভাষার এই পরিবর্তন আমরা সাদরে গ্রহন করেছি কারন আমাদের চলতি ভাষারও এইভাবেই পরিবর্তন ঘটেছে।

আমরা সিনেমাতেও ভাষার এই পরিবর্তন লক্ষ করেছি, ধরা যাক আমাদের প্রবাদপ্রতিম মহানায়াক ও মহানায়িকার জুটির কথা, এনাদের কোনও সিনেমাতে একে অপরকে প্রেম নিবেদন করতে দেখা যায়নি কিন্তু চোখের ও শরিরি ভাষায় এই পর্বটি তারা চমৎকার ভাবে করেছেন এবং দর্শকদের আনন্দ দিয়েছেন। ২০১২ সালের একটি বাংলা সিনেমার কথা না বললে মনে হয় সিনেমা তে প্রেম নিবেদনে বাংলা ভাষার পরিবর্তনটা ঠিক মতন বোঝানো সম্ভব হবে না। সিনেমার নাম “হেমলক সোসাইটি”, নায়িকা কয়েল মল্লিক নায়ককে “ আই লাভ ইউ” বলাতে নায়ক পরমব্রত উত্তরে “গাঁ_ মেরেছে” শুনতে পাওয়া যায় এবং দর্শক আসন থেকে তা শুনে হাসির রোল ওঠে। আরও প্রচুর সিনেমাতে এই রকম ভাষা পাওয়া যায়, ২২শে শ্রাবন, খাদ, ইতাদি।

আসলে বই এর ভাষা এবং আমাদের বন্ধুদের সঙ্গে কথা বলার ভাষা সম্পূর্ণ আলাদা। বন্ধুদের সঙ্গে কথা বলার ভাষা ধীরে ধীরে বাংলা সিনেমাতে স্থান পাচ্ছে এবং সেই ভাষাকে স্থান দেওয়াকে অনেকে নির্দেশকের সাহসিকতা বলছেন। নির্দেশকেরা এর জন্য প্রশংসিতও হয়েছেন। ২০১৪ তে চৌমাহা গ্রামে সেই সাহসিকতা দেখিয়েছেন লোক সাভার সদস্য শ্রী তাপস পাল, উনি অনেক কিছু বলেছেন, যা এখানে লেখা সম্ভব নয়, স্ক্রীন টেস্টে ওইরকম দেখলে তরুন মজুমদার ওনাকে “দাদার কীর্তি” সিনেমাতে নিতেন কিনা সন্দেহ আছে, কিন্তু একটা লাইন না লিখলে নয়, “আমি চন্দননগরের মাল...”, এই “মাল” শব্দটির মানে আভিধানে পাওয়া যাবে না কিন্তু এর মানে প্রচলিত ভাষায়ে আনেক, যেমন জিনিস, মদ, পুরুষেরা সুন্দরী মহিলাকেও ওই বলে এবং মহিলারা ওই শব্দটি কোন অপদার্থ পুরুষকে বলে। ইদানিং কালে আমরা প্রচুর বাংলা নতুন শব্দ পেয়েছি যা অভিধানে নেই বা অন্য মানে আছে কিন্তু এদের সকলের প্রচলিত মানে আমাদের জানা যেমন, চাপ, বাঁশ, হুড়কো, সেন্টি, ঝাকাস, চুদুরবুদুর, ইত্যাদি।

বইয়ের ভাষায়ে পরিবর্তন আমরা পড়েছি এবং মেনে নিয়েছি, সিনেমার ভাষার পরিবর্তন আমরা ইদানিং কালে দেখছি এবং ধীরে ধীরে মেনে নিতে শুরু করেছি কিন্তু যত গণ্ডগোল রাজনীতিবিদদের ভাষা নিয়ে, কেন? তারাও কেন এই ভাষার পরিবর্তনের সঙ্গে নিজেদের ভাষার পরিবর্তন করতে পারবেন না? আনিল বসু, জ্যতিপ্রিয় মল্লিক, আনুব্রত মণ্ডল, আরাবুল ইসলাম, মনিরুল, তাপস পাল, মমতা ব্যানারজির মতন রাজনীতিবিদরা রাজনীতিবিদদের ভাষায় যে পরিবর্তন এনেছেন তা আমরা কিন্তু মেনে নিতে পারছি না। আসলে আমরা যতই রাজনীতিবিদদের আপছন্দ করি দেখাই, আমরা কিন্তু তাদের এখনো মনে মনে উচ্চাসনে রেখেছি। তাদেরকে এখনো আমরা সমাজের পথ প্রদর্শক মনে করি তাই আমরা রাজনীতিবিদদের ভাষার পরিবর্তন চাই না। আশাকরি রাজনীতিবিদরা সাধারন মানুষের তাদের প্রতি সন্মানের কথা মাথায় রেখে এই পরিবর্তন থেকে বিরত থাকবেন।

Nehru (and his coterie) Vs. Netaji Subhas

Winter does not cripple Bengalis. No it is not because of New year coming but for the reason 23rd January is coming. Netaji is Hero to all Bengalis even today but we can proudly say he is hero of undivided India. Kind of response we get regarding discussion & his death mystery shows, how people see still see him idol after 67 years of independence.

This year political heat in Bengal is unprecedented. In the meantime one New Indian Express article derived from to declassified files of Netaji creates sensation. Which clearly indicates Netaji died in Russia under Stalin's leadership. On the other hand political party in power joining declassification protest at Tamilnadu. Although they have not declassified Netaji files with Bengal Government. They have officially conceded to false Netaji Death theory in plane crash by putting day of death under Netaji Statue few years back. Other political party which was in power for 34 years declaring month-wise protest. All this is happening because everybody knows Netaji seats in soul of Bengal. When they are in distress they can utilize sentiments on Netaji to win election.

In News paper as well Netaji love is heating up in letters. We salute them. It makes us proud. In the days when politics is associated with corruption. In the days politicians name with cynicism a Man called "Netaji" stands tall in the mind of Bengal.

On 15th December one gentleman called Sri. DN Bose wrote in The Statesman ,which was published yesteday 26th December. Letter says...

SIR, It was refreshing to read H N Bali’s objective evaluation of Nehru’s term as Prime Minister. Not only did Nehru not attempt any reform of the “Steel Frame” of the ICS, he was in awe of the heaven-born service. In his autobiography he writes he was “under-age” for the ICS, although after completing his tripos in Cambridge he stayed behind for two years till 1912 when he was 23, to earn a law degree. The other excuse was that his family did not want him in a transferable job. Motilal’s letters to his son, now rarely referred to, clearly shows how dissatisfied he was with his son’s academic performance. He saw no chance of his son clearing the ICS examination and advised him to take up law so that he could establish him in the legal profesion in Allahabad under his aegis. None of his biographers refer to these letters which were published when Indira Gandhi was out of power.

It is well-known that Nehru took a tripos in Natural Sciences, but what were his subjects? Chemistry, Botany and Geology, which were purely descriptive subjects at the time and in which he earned a low second class. Mahalanobis and Bhabha, with firsts in Mathematics and Physics, naturally impressed him when he became PM. However he did not get on with home-grown scientists of the calibre of Raman and Saha who became his stern critics. His superior Oxbridge attitude led him to look down on his son-in law Feroze Gandhi who studied at the “lowly” London School of Economics.

Nehru is given credit for setting up the chain of CSIR laboratories grafting the Soviet model. What this unwittingly accomplished was the emasculation of the University system drawing away aspiring faculty. These laboratories, barring a few, remained white elephants hardly fulfilling their roles as links between industry and academia. His Cambridge background should have made him realise that outstanding scholarship occurred in the unfettered ambience of Universities and not in government-controlled institutions. His top-down approach has led India to lag behind Bangladesh in primary education and rural health.

After reading that letter another Respected Netaji fan wrote back today,

J Nehru (and their family friend, G D Khosla of Khosla Enq. Commission 'fame') and of course, (so-called 'Mahatma') Gandhi, suffered from the disease called vicious 'jealousy' as they saw their bete noire (=a person that one particularly dislikes) Subhas doing excellently at home and also in UK in the field of education, whereas, these three could only secure mediocre results. Not only in education, they were lamentably below Subhas in every other field, be it statesmanship, depth of oratory, linguistic ability, knowledge of World History through the ages to apply its teaching in nation's political goal-setting, his utter selflessness, his devotion and religiosity in the most liberal mould, his courage to stand up to personalities like Hitler and Stalin on equal terms, his simplicity and sharing the same discomforts with his followers, his sense of true democracy, his visionary knowledge of national economical planning and its application, his true global anti-colonial revolutionary zeal, his devotion to the greatness in Indian Civilization and his intention to spread its message far and wide to dispel the evil 'civilization' of the West that bred culture of hatred-sex-violence-decadence-greed-consumerism- materialism. And one can make an endless list in favour of Netaji. It's not for nothing that Netaji was regarded as 'Master Strategist' and 'War Expert' and has been included in world's Military Training curriculum. 
It is the single most greatest tragedy that Netaji and his revolutionary participation in the World War II did not meet with explicit success which could have changed the face of the whole world for all time to come. But even militarily, his army fought such valiantly in a mighty War against the British that the British had to admit that this battle was the fiercest of all Wars the British fought throughout their history. And even in his defeat, the British for the first time experienced disaffection from the Indian members in their Army, Navy and Airforce, whose continued loyalty would have allowed them to continue with colonialism ~ so that they realized that they were no longer in position to sit in the throne of India directly. So they cunningly inked a secret agreement with their stooge, J Nehru to (Prepone) a pseudo-independence to India in the form of colonial Dominion Status with Partition to throw the nation into communal riots engineered by the British themselves so that the Nation didn't have energy left to see through the anti-national calamity ushered in by the British and its stooges Gandhi and Nehru.

So here we are, with a map of Indian sub-continent in which knife has pierced its states in geographical as well as in its human bondage destroying its legacy of unity in diversity.

Now, our masses in all 3 parts of our original sub-continent must discover the evil deeds that divided us and should now undo the wrongs so that they regain their lost legacy. And this they can only do if they study Netaji including his 80% unknown life and become his true followers.

The "Ghulam" forever

This picture says all. In 2014 Congress lost all trust from people for their financial scams & BJP gained all positive vote due scam free,development minded Prime Minister Sri Narendrabhai Modi. When we are writing this picture of Jammu & Kashmir is not clear yet but one thing is sure BJP got maximum number of votes in Jammu & Kashmir. It is true BJP hasn't got any seat in Kashmir Valley but it is also true BJP has not allowed any other party to enter Jammu. If we consider voters of Jammu are from Hindu community & voters of  Kashmir are Muslim then one must argue,that after Independence one Hindu can be Chief Minister of that state. No it doesn't mean that he will be Chief Minister of one community. Our Prime Minister has always said "SABKA SATH SABKA BIKASH". A minister is for all. we have mentioned it as Ghulam Nabi Ajad,only visible face of Congress said that yesterday that CM must be from Valley. So It was our reply. One Hindu has right to be CM of J&K as much as one Muslim has. Just like Mr. Raghubar Das of Jharkhand will be the first non-tribal Chief Minister of Jharkhand

It only proves once again that BJP does not play with Dalit-Non Dalit,Jat-Non Jat,Tribal-Non Tribal,Muslim-Non Muslim politics. It also proves how nakedly they have followed vote bank politics.

Actually problem of Ghulam Nabi Ajad is differnt. He is the face from Jammu Kashmir politics which has crushed all his opponents in the party & came across as the only leader from that region. Since nationally there are no face in congress nationally survives. As soon as Congress lost the election in 2014,Congress has made him leader of Rajyasabha to keep intact their vote-Bank credentials. His term ends in February,only a month left to remain in the chair, So he is desperate to get a Rajyasabha seat to be leader of Congress,else he will be jobless within a month. Minutes after early trends coming in, he started to say that Congress will support PDP. Forgetting that their support does not matter to any party any more. Ghulam's only intention is to be safe in Rajyasabha. Only PDP support can send him there,Only PDP can save his job. We want to remind this beggar from elite congress. It was the same PDP which withdrew support from your Government & you resigned as Chief Minister of J&K on 11th July 2008. Today you are saying that anybody which will align with BJP will be finished in next election. Hilarious Mr.Azad actually it is clear your political career is finished. It is shame that Congress never brought any leader in the fore front except you since Narsimha Rao time. If any body had to Central Minister,it is you. If anybody had to be CM,it is you. If one had to be leader in Parliament,it is you. It will be not very late your leaders there will revolt & you will be jobless. However it is true for all political parties in J&K except BJP,one family rule going on. Sort of Mughal Sultanat.

we want to end here at this time ,only to say rest part of India will be saffronised soon. As BJP has provided Non Jat CM in Haryana,as BJP has provided Non-Tribal CM in Jharkhand,BJP will make many more new beginning by breaking all cast,creed structure. Today is the day of love for many. But Indian culture & civilizations oldest. If you move around the entire East to North east mountains one can find treasurer of Ashoka all over. At that difficult age of communication “The great King Ashoka” had shown how to spread the word of love to every country. Today most of our neighbors & multiple countries of our immediate East follow him.

Patliputra of Bihar was kingdom & he ruled between 304 to 232 BC. History book says he converted himself to Buddhism seeing death of 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh peoples' death. Meaning of his name is “Painless without sorrow” in sanskrit. He is treated as first hero of India & his several symbols are used as national symbol

Now  we give an extract from an article titled "Convert from misery to happiness" published in The Statesman :

"Permit me to read a benevolent message from India to the world, inscribed in stone 2300 years ago, a message from the great emperor Asoka. The message from this ideal ruler says: “One should not honour only one’s own religion and condemn other religions.” This is an important message in today’s world. If you keep condemning others and insisting “mine is the best”, you create difficulties for human beings. The message continues: “Instead you should honour other religions also for various reasons”. Every religion has a wholesome core of love, compassion and goodwill. Honour every religion because of this core. The outer shell always differs ~ rites, rituals, ceremonies, beliefs. Do not quarrel with those, but instead give importance to the inner essence of all religions. And there will be no quarrel. The ancient message says, “By so doing, one helps one’s own religion to grow and also renders service to religions of others. In acting otherwise, one digs the grave of one’s own religion and harms other religions as well.” Understand, this is a big warning. The message continues: “Someone who honours his own religion and condemns other religions may do so out of devotion to his religion, thinking ‘I will glorify my religion,’ but his actions injure his own religion more gravely”. This is the message of Dharma, of the Universal Law: “Let all listen: concord is good, let us not quarrel…” Instead of disagreeing and condemning other religions, give importance to the essence of every religion…then there will be real peace, real harmony"

But the question remains after Ashoka followed some principles many more Religions has seen light. Every religion has broken down after quarrel within themselves.. Eastern Orthodoxy, Roman Catholicism,Protestantism.Sia Sunni etc. This is not the essence of of religion. Peace is the essence. In the advent of many religion growth of old religions may have slowed down but we can say key essence of peace in India is intact. That is why we still light candles when terrorists gun down kids studying in school. we feel pain as much the other country feels. This barbaric attitude is not something unknown. We have seen how Kashmiri Pundits had to fled from Jammu. we have seen how atrocities on Minorities regularly happening in Bangladesh. why this is happening? why essence of Love is not followed?

We give an extract from a letter by Suvabrata Bandyopadhyay published in Dainik Statesman which quotes Swamiji, to prove~ there is one religion which is intolerant towards other faiths and preaches their instant annihilation:

"It is to be noted that in this respect, the Muslim faithfuls are the most immature and communal minded. Their principal mantra is Allah and Mohammad is the only Rasul. Anything outside these aren't merely bad, these are to be instantaneously destroyed. Any man or woman who is a minutest unbeliever of this faith, has to be killed and their devotional procedure is to be removed completely.  Any scriptures preaching a different faith is to be burnt down. ..... " (Swami Vivekananda Rachanabali, 4th Volume, page 125)(Translated into English).

Innovations in Money Laundering

Chit Fund Companies: Were the looted or Were it a well-crafted plan? Continues…

Dictionary meaning of "Laundering" is washing clothes and bed linens. Thus the meaning of Money Laundering is evident washing black money and making it clean.

Let us understand the process through which money laundering activity takes place in brief:

1^st Step Placement            : Introducing cash into Financial System by some means.

2^nd Step Layering               : Carrying out complex financial transaction to camouflage the illegal source.

3^rd Step Integration          : The final step entails acquiring wealth generated from the transaction of illicit funds.

Some or any on these steps may be omitted, depending on the circumstances.

Money laundering takes several different forms:

Structuring (smurfing): cash is broken into smaller deposits of money, to defeat suspicion of money laundering.

Bulk cash smuggling: physically smuggling cash to another jurisdiction and depositing it in a financial institution, such as an offshore bank, with greater bank secrecy.

Cash-intensive businesses: a business involved in receiving cash uses its accounts to deposit both legitimate and criminally derived cash, claiming all of it as legitimate earnings. Service businesses are best suited to this method.

Trade-based laundering: This involves under- or overvaluing invoices to disguise the movement of money.

Shell companies and trusts: Trusts and shell companies disguise the true owner of money.

Round-tripping: Money is deposited in a controlled foreign corporation offshore, preferably in a tax haven, and then shipped back as a foreign direct investment, exempt from taxation.

Bank capture: In this case, money launderers a controlling interest in a bank, and then move money through the bank without scrutiny.

Casinos: an individual walks into a casino with cash and buys chips, plays for a while, and then cashes in the chips, taking payment in a check, or just getting a receipt, claiming it as gambling winnings.

Gambling: Money is spent on gambling, preferably on higher odds. The wins are shown if the source for money is asked for, while the losses are hidden.

Real estate: Someone purchases real estate with illegal proceeds and then sells the property.

Black salaries: A company may have unregistered employees without a written contract and pay them cash salaries. Dirty money might be used to pay them.

Tax amnesties: that legalizes unreported assets in tax havens and cash.

We suppose we could explain the readers in nutshell the process and methods utilized for money laundering. Mostly money-laundering is done by terrorist to fund terror in different countries, drug peddlers to get their sales proceed and by businessmen to hide their illegal income. To prevent terrorists and drug-peddlers from free money transfer, United Nations has urged every country to introduce anti-money laundering bill and in response to it India introduced The Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA).

Now let us come back in context of West Bengal. Since 2011 we have been listening that earlier Left Government has incurred so much loan that this government exhaust its earnings for repayment of loan and interest. In every meeting and rally our Chief Minister claimed it. She appealed Centre for 3 years moratorium and special financial package for West Bengal, which Centre declined to provide. At last she pulled out her support from UPA 2 Government at Centre.

West Bengal Government had to run the show on its own as UPA 2 Government didn’t extend it helping hand to one of its allies. Below mentioned two tables will explain how WB Gov. ran the show without the help of Central 

Government.

In the above table the figures circled in red are the Internal debt (market Loans) which the Government takes from people by issuing bonds (10yr, 15yr, etc.). Government pays 5-8% interest per annum to the bond owners, as mentioned on the bond and pays back the Face value of the bond at the end of the term.

If Chit Fund Companies were a well-crafted plan, the proceeds out of those companies needed protection or to be camouflaged so that they don’t appear to be from illegal source and Integration (remember the 3^rd step above) can be done at a suitable time. A recent incident can give an insight to this matter. Enforcement Directorate (ED), while investigating money trail of Chit Fund Scam in West Bengal, attached Rs 10 Crores of Government Bonds of Mr Srinjoy Bose, Trinamool Congress Raja Sabha MP! Wow! Government Bond used as tool for money laundering! Absolutely new and a brilliant idea! It may be used by others also to park money, and can be withdrawn at a suitable time, even if they are not in Government. They are law-makers and if they resort to such activities people will lose faith on the largest democracy.
