MyGoV

A modern democracy is founded on the principle "by the people, for the people and of the people".

And more than ever is the need for people's participation in the process of how our country is governed. We all have the power to contribute and change the country for the betterment of all people.

With an eye to collaborate and empower the vast population of this country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched MyGov (http://mygov.nic.in).

Features :

1. Citizens can discuss key challenges facing the country.
2. The portal has already started discussion on 6 key areas - job creation, cleaning the Ganga, boosting girl child education, cleaning India, skill India and digital India.
3. The portal is divided into two sections - Discuss and Do.
4. Citizens can upload documents, case studies, videos and work plans on the portal.
5. Citizens can volunteer to work on projects arising out of the ideas on the portal.
6. The most important topics will directly reach the Prime Minister.
7. The person with the most points earned through work on project will get a chance to meet the Prime Minister.

Political discourse is part of our culture. The "adda" now needs to "add" to the country concrete benefits and real change. We all have the time and energy to develop this nation of ours.
