Forget Me Not

Some things the West Bengal Government forgot:

1.       5 more tea gardens shutdown have in North Bengal and are pushing workers to the brink of starvation. The situation is so bad that parents are selling off their children in order to survive.

2.       5 more jute mills have shut down in West Bengal and are leaving the close to 40,000 workers with no means to support themselves.

3.       5 major units (Shalimar Paints, Hindustan Motors, Haldia Petrochemicals, Jessops, Dunlop) have shut down leaving scores of workers unemployed.  Livid Eastern Coalfield is threatening shut down.

4.       5 times is the increase in the infiltration of refugees from Bangladesh as it forgot to protect the borders.

5.       5 more deaths as encephalitis warning was forgotten by the Government.

6.       5 more attacks on women/girls in as many days. The Government forgot its promise to protect citizens.

7.       5 reasons for not delaying civic polls in West Bengal on time. The Government forgot that holding polls on time is a responsibility.

8.       73 Ponzi scheme had to be shut down in the state. Thousands lot their money in these schemes run under the aegis of the ruling party.

9.       The Government forgot to pay for the West Bengal ads in newspapers. INS has asked to clear the back dues.

10.   41,621 companies closed down in West Bengal in the last year alone which accounts for 23% of the total registered companies.

When will the misrule end?

  1. This is probably the tip of iceberg - in terms of failure & mis governance by the current dictatorship in Bengal. Failure in each and every aspect of governance is THE hallmark of present TMC rule. Tough competition to UP !!! Exchequer is empty BUT huge money being spent on Award functions - awarding film personnel who hv become MPs/MLAs. Or may be dancing with Mumbai film stars. Unfortunate and Sad.
